Royal Cliff Hotel as well as Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall
(PEACH) to celebrate the Asia Summit in Pattaya, Thailand. During the
event, Team Members will celebrate their glorious successes with
Synergy. Plus, it’s also a golden opportunity for Team Members to learn
from each other, to grow and to excel in their journey in Synergy.
In all, more than 500 Team Members from Korea will be attending the event, while more than 150 Team Members from Japan will be taking part in our event as well. Success for Europe's First SLMsmart Challengers

As Synergy prepares to officially launch SLMsmart in the European Markets, we invited 70 enthusiastic Team
Members from various countries to participate in a 90-day pre-launch SLMsmart
challenge. Now, at the end of those 90 days and just one month away from our
European Summit in Barcelona, the results from the challenge are in.
The product, which id new to Europe, has truly been put to
the test. The challenge parameters were simple: Replace one or two meals with
SLMsmart Health Shake, eat meals that follow SLMsmart’s Essential Foods guidelines, and exercise 30 minutes
per day, five days per week.

New Medical & Scientific Advisory Board Member

Synergy WorldWide, along with Nature’s Sunshine
Products, is happy to announce that Dr. Sang Geon Kim, Ph.D. has joined
our its Medical and Scientific Advisory Board. As a professor currently based in
Seoul, Korea, Dr. Kim brings with him a wealth of global experience and
expertise. It is a privilege to have him as part of the Synergy team.
The addition of Dr. Kim to our Medical and Scientific Advisory Board
“will help drive our product development strategy of leveraging science-based
intellectual property to solve mega-trend health problems," said Gregory L.
Probert, Chairman and CEO of Synergy/NSP. "We believe that Dr. Kim's vast
research in the field of metabolic dysfunction will allow him to be a terrific
asset in terms of our product development. We're excited about this partnership
and look forward to the expertise that he brings to our company."
Dr.
Matt Tripp, Synergy/NSP's Chief Scientific Officer, added, “Dr. Kim's extensive
research background and knowledge will be of great value in helping guide us to
new discoveries and innovations."
Background Dr. Kim's accomplishments
are many. In 2010, he was honored by the President of the Republic of Korea,
Ministry of Health and Welfare. Earlier that year, he was named the “Scientist
of the Month” by the Ministry of Science and Education. He also received the
Best Pharmacologist Award from the Korean Society of Pharmacology in 2008, among
other honors. Dr. Kim has been published in peer reviewed journals more than 200
times. He has personally trained in his lab over 100 graduate students pursuing
masters, doctoral and post-doctoral degrees.
Dr. Kim currently serves as
Vice Director of the Research Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Seoul
National University in Seoul, Korea. He is also the Director of the Innovative
Drug Research Center for Metabolic and Inflammatory Disease (IDRC) at Seoul
National University and maintains a professorship in the College of Pharmacy at
the university. In addition, he sits on the Toxicology Advisory Board for the
Korean Food and Drug Administration. Previously, he served as the Director of
the Institute of Laboratory Animal Resources and as the Associate Dean of the
College of Pharmacy, both in Seoul.
Dr. Kim earned his Ph.D. from
Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. He earned both his master's
degree in Pharmacology and his bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Seoul National
University in Seoul, Korea.
"I'm thrilled to team up with Nature's
Sunshine Products and accept a position on their Medical and Scientific Advisory
Board," Kim said. "I'm eager to share my research in metabolic dysfunction and
know that it can play an integral role in the development of cutting-edge
products that can help improve the lives of millions of people across the
globe."

At Synergy WorldWide’s most successful
European Summit yet, the energy and enthusiasm was tangible. View the Summit
2014 video and photos and you’ll see what we mean!
Barcelona was a vibrant, dynamic city, and the perfect
place to host an equally vibrant Summit event. More than 1,000 Team Members from
15 countries were in attendance. This event marked the official launch of
SLMsmart and e9 in the markets of Europe. The presentations were powerful, the
entertainment had the room standing, clapping, and cheering, and the Summit
Store was packed with Team Members eager to purchase new product and merchandise
to further their businesses. And let’s not forget the fun that was had at the
Welcome Reception and VIP Dinner!
Thank you to everyone who was involved in making this event
a major success and a turning point in Synergy Europe history.
It was wonderful to unite once again with the Team Members
of Synergy Europe.

extraordinary couple as the newest representatives of the Synergy
Advantage. About Drew & Lynn
Most fitness trainers have a passion for
nutrition. Drew Manning and his wife Lynn are no exception. But
while most trainers work hard to maintain sculpted figures and top levels of
fitness, Drew has become famous for taking a different approach. In fact, for
six long months, Drew let himself become overweight and unhealthy, and the world
took notice.
You may have heard of Drew's bizarre experiment. He went
from fit to fat simply by eating what has been called the "Standard American
Diet." Then, without the help of any extreme or faddish diets, he lost the
weight and regained an enviable figure. All of this was well documented, first
on Drew's website and YouTube

Several months ago, Drew and Lynn were introduced by a
mutual friend to Synergy Founder Dan Higginson. Immediately, Dan was
impressed by the pair and began sharing the story of his company.
"What Drew
has done physically is obviously impressive," said Dan, "but what really
impressed me was the reason behind why he did what he did. This is a guy who
wanted to better understand people so that he could better help people. And his
wife Lynn is no different. They both are just great people with good hearts, and
who better to represent Synergy than a couple like that."
Ever since beginning his experiment, Drew has been
