If a company conducts at least one test, then it can accurately state that it tests its products for quality. Undoubtedly, some companies take that approach. But NSP and Synergy knows there are no short cut to quality.

When it comes to your health, you shouldn't take chances. We examine our raw materials and finished products as thoroughly as is technologically possible. In all, we use more than 600 separate tests to determine the quality, purity, and potency of our materials and products.

Tests range from the simple to complex. Some tests, such as the organoleptic testing, use only the senses, while other testscan only be done with sophisticated, state-of-the-art machinery. Some tests are used to identify materials; others are used to quantify active components and confirm label claims. Still others verify that harmful substances are not present.

Here are just a few of the tests that we perform to make sure you can trust our products to get the rel results you and your customer deserve:

•  Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer- Takes an infrared scan of raw materials. Ued to verify what material is and whether there are aay adulterants or contaminants present
• Thin later Chromatography- Identifies not only the species, but the specific part of a plant used. It also checks for contaminants, adulterants and toxins.
• High Performance Liquid Chromatography- Using a liquid solvent, it quantifies product purity and potency. It is also used to verify label claims.
• Geiger Counter- Used to test for several forms of radiation.
• Ashing Oven- Burns away samples pf raw materials at 700 degree Celsius to verify cleanliness.
• Particle Size and Tap Density- Critical to insure that correct dosage levels are observed.
• Gas Chromatography- Tests for purity, potency and all pesticides.
• ICP/MS- Measures all minerals listed on the periodic table, including heavy metals, to the parts-per-billion level
• Mercuty Test- Test for the presence of mercury in all raw materials and finished products.
